National Smile Month is the Largest & Longest-Running Oral Health Campaign.

It’s National Smile Month! National Smile Month is the largest and longest-running oral health campaign. Thousands of individuals and organizations work together to highlight the campaigns three key messages. These messages help remind everyone to develop and maintain a healthy mouth.
This year, National Smile Month reminds us to:
- Make sure to brush your teeth twice a day, including right before you go to bed. Use a fluoride toothpaste in order to help strengthen weak spots in your teeth and exposed roots and help prevent the early stages of tooth decay.
- Reduce the amounts of sugary snacks and drinks you consume.
- Visit your dentist as often as they recommend.
The aim of the campaign is to help everyone improve their overall oral health and achieve good physical and mental wellbeing.
